BFS held a sales meeting October 14-16 and had most of our representatives in attendance. The meeting also included our Critical Fuel Systems division reps. On Monday night, a welcome reception was held at Gravy in Downtown Raleigh. It was a great way to welcome our reps to North Carolina and get caught up with lots of friends, old and new.
Tuesday, numerous technical sessions were presented throughout the morning and into the afternoon. Sessions included: BFS history and product line review, Deaerator technical presentation, Pump NPSH discussion, various tech topics covering common installation problems and trouble shooting, intro to Fuel Oil by our CFS division, water and stream control valves and pumps.
After a busy day of interactive learning and discussions, it was time for some good old Southern Hospitality. Everyone was bused up to the BFS plant in Butner where they were greeted with specialty handcrafted cocktails and a tour of the plant. We prepared some great equipment demos to highlight unique product applications. Our crew worked hard throughout the day to get the plant ready for the Pig Pickin’. A specialty bartender put on quite a show, the Pig and sides were delicious and sales awards were presented to our top Reps for 2018.
We finished up on Wednesday with sessions in the morning including VFD’s, Rep Success Stories, PLC’s & controls. Our closing event was a group outing to Drive Shack for lunch and some virtual golf fun. We appreciate everyone taking the time away from their offices and business to attend our sales meeting, it was a huge success due to the great people in attendance!
